Our Story
Co-founded by Sports Performance Coach Sady Carelli and Physiotherapist Martina Plunger Beech, the Collective grew out of their work together with the U.S. Paralympic Ski & Snowboard Team. While collaborating in elite environments, they consistently observed gaps in how female athlete health was addressed—particularly around training, recovery, nutrition, menstrual health, pelvic floor function, and long-term well-being.
They also saw what was possible when disciplines worked together and athletes were treated as whole people, not isolated systems.
What began as professional collaboration quickly became a shared mission: to bridge the gap between research, practice, and lived experience. HerSport Collective was created to translate complex science into practical, accessible education that teams can actually use—without stigma or silence.
Our Mission
HSC empowers female athletes and the communities around them by delivering accessible, evidence-based education on female health in sport.
Through open conversation, collaboration, and trust, we equip athletes, coaches, parents, and organizations with the knowledge needed to support performance, confidence, and lifelong well-being.
When female athletes are understood and supported, everyone benefits.
